OFFICIAL: Patriots at Jets Post-Game thread

As I said in another thread, we will face the Jets in the playoffs and we will lose again. The punishment of a coward is death a thousand times over.

I agree they will play the jets again but that's all I agree with in your statement

Excuse my outburst guys but you have no idea how badly that Jets playoff loss hurt me. Still haunts me to this day.

These injuries are just killing the team. Luckily for us many of them were not season ending so hopefully we get healthy at the right time. Need to win vs Miami to stay with the number 1 seed.

Counting the players on IR and the plavers injured during the game and out for the game, the Pats played without 27 players, more than half the 53. Amazing.

Lets see what happens to Vollmer because his loss leaves the o-line in absolute shambles.

EDIT: Excuse the fear talking..
If anything this loss makes me more confident that we would beat the Jets in Foxboro with Jules/Amendola/McCourty/Chung back.

Playoffs are a big step up from regular season home field Super Bowl wins...the Jets have Kirkpatrick at QB...c'mon, they're underdogs in any wild card game.Did you crybabies FORGET what the Jets looked like in Dallas against Joe Blow and The Nobodyboys?

Loved that drive to tie it up, with 2 big fourth down conversions.

What's up with the Jets not getting called for their pick plays?? Also that DPI call on Butler was crap.

Figured it would be a close one today without us having Edelman or Amendola.

Thought other than Brandon Marshall the defense played really well until overtime. That overtime series was horrid, miscue after miscue. We deserved to lose.

Offense definitely struggled as expected, though I found it interesting that it seemed like we were having success with a straightforward passing game but were constantly getting derailed by Brandon Bolden runs on 2nd and 9 and gimmick plays we've been doing all season and the Jets were completely ready for.

Want to give major credit to Gronk on that last series. he made some ridiculous plays to keep the game alive.

Sucks to get a loss and they're a good team, but I'm not afraid to face them again once we get some weapons back.

Have faith that we'll take care of business down in Miami!

Just fcuckikng wait...that PI call on butler in the last possession for nyj....that's happening in divisional round/AFC title game....guaran****ingtee...there's no way the Patriots win the SB...roger will not let it happen

Proud of this defense. They kept us in this game. We had some issues in our secondary, but we had a chance to win.

Collins is such a playmaker. Not enough good things can be said about this guy. Name me another LB that's as versatile? And Jabal Sheard has a knack at getting to the QB. He honestly might be our most consistent edge player.

That PI on Butler was a good call. Even Zo on the radio call said so. Stop being stupid. We had one penalty called against us all day.

Maybe facing the Jest in the playoffs again would be a nice little bonus on the way to the SB. A little revenge never hurt anybody.

wait, so he's not angry? Angry? The wording of this is a bit confusing.
What I got is that he was annoyed at reporters focusing on the coin toss. But overall I don't get the impression he or Brady is exactly devastated.
