Prior to defamegate I used to bounce back an forth from F&M and WEEI. (I didn't live here during spygate)
But after watching F&M butcher a HOF QB's reputation with assumptions formed from inaccurate if not fabricated data was just too much for me.
After the Well's report came out I chimed in to see what their take was because I thought that the Well's report, at a minimum, dispelled the Sharp Analysis's fumble rate or competitive advantage claims (which were based upon Morts 2 psi tweet) and had shown that at a minimum that one of the two ball guys did not go into the bathroom with the intention to deflate the footballs below regulation pressure. But those idiots were stuck on the "deflator" text message and a trip to the bathroom.
In most criminal cases the DNA either dispels or supports the circumstantial evidence but to F&M the circumstantial evidence dispels the DNA. Bathroom trip > Science.
In fact F&M never changed their tune even after they knew that: 1. It wasn't about 2 psi rather it was 0.2 psi (according to the Well's report). 2. Roger lied about Brady's testimony during the appeal. 3. Pash had edited the Well's report. (apparently spell checking). and 4. No one in the NFL/Ted Wells knew about the IGL. They still stick to their same assumptions which were based on 2 psi.
They were wrong so many times during this. "Brady won't appeal this"......."Brady doesn't want the appeal transcripts released"......"Brady won't take this to court"....."Brady won't win in court"......etc....etc.....
Meanwhile WEEI and Curran have been incredibly in tune with entire scandal. Curran may have had a few negative articles but I was still willing to read them because I felt like he was trying to call it like he sees it.
Well that was longer than I intended. Anyways I stopped listening to them a while ago but have chimed in now and then which is rare. Maybe twice a month and even then it's for a few minutes.
