Is Dan Connolly too gone into retirement? Were his concussion too severe to risk a one year comeback? His presence is being felt among this group and the effects are reverberating in many of things the OL did were last year. .
The balance of the OL is off. The run game is affected, Brady is getting hit too many times, guys are getting beat one on one. what can a RB do if every time he touches the ball there is someone already in the backfield?
If Kline is going to be sideline for a while, it may not be a bad idea to see if he has anything desire or anything left.
In announcing his retirement he said he knows he can at least play one more year. I hope he has not lost weight yet.

People are going to double amendola and force pats to throw. Dont think olineman can help with this running game we have. Neither do we have a dynamic back like leveon bell for e.g .
Put edelman back in this offense with gronk and amendola and this problem gets solved to a large extent because ball will be out in under 2 secs.

I want Elliot from OSU.

Last I remember, he dropped a bunch of weight and looked like he was done for good.

Was at a golf tournament in Sept and he was the guest. Said he dropped about 55lbs at the point.

Here is a tweet from that tournament.

Good for him. Glad he retired a champ.

Easily the most complete back in the draft.

Forget about his raw athleticism and speed, he's the best blocking skill position player on the team--and by far. Probably the best in the entire country. He also has a tough, hard-nosed approach for the game, is a hard worker, and has an uncanny ability to break tackles.

Too bad he'll be long gone in the top 15 picks.
