BB will kill him. When I heard his comments about BB making any team looks like world class or something like that, I knew there was trouble in the making. We pretty much disrespected the Eagles before the game, and during the game.

This was a bad game. His best games have been when he was basically targeted 3-4 times and didn't have an egregious drop. His worst games have been full of drops...just not at all confident that he can hang onto the ball, and I feel like he's a step slower this season (would he have had that long 1st down catch last year? My guess is yes, almost certainly). Just not a reliable WR2, this offense is a shell of what it had been healthy.

He's a capable #3 WR who, if asked to be anything more, will struggle against most defenses.

There's a few guys on this team that seem content with winning only 1 Super Bowl. Thankfully, the QB isn't one of them.

The Pats need to get back to being healthy. LaFell is a better #3 than he is a #1.

Unfortunately I think you might be right. Amendola is definitely better, Martin might be as well.

Seriously. It's amazing how guys like Lafell get a pass for clearly giving up on a route, running the wrong route, etc etc. Meanwhile I don't remember Moss ever giving up on a route in his time with NE, yet that's still all we ever heard.

I'm not completely done on Lafell yet since he did have a good season last year, but we just really REALLY could use better depth (any depth) at receiver and someone who can actually stretch the field AND catch the ball...

Last year must have been the abberition for LaFell. This must be what all the Panther fans were talking about when we signed him last off season.

I don't think he is healthy, he has no explosion off the line and has minimal to no separation.

That said he made a big play to keep us in the game bull rushing his way to the one yard line, so it wasn't all negative.

They keep trying him as a deep threat but he never gets seperation. Even though Dobson has some bad hands he gets open, too bad we lost him. And with this oline we really have a bad match of talent. Guys that can get deep seperation and an oline that don't give the qb enough time. Brady is going to get killed trying to stay in the pocket too long.

Some long-term memory you have there. I bet you were singing this same tune all of last year when he made key plays throughout the season and playoffs.
