To fight back against that kind of adversity?

I'm never happy about a loss but that late game effort is exactly the sort of stuff that Belichick saw in the KC game last year.

A lesser team, having just lost a heartbreaker, would have folded. We didn't win and unlike Denver I don't think you can make an argument that we deserved to win. But that last quarter showed that this team has the heart to repeat.

I love the team too. But they could not afford to give this game away.... And they definitely beat themselves I don't give the Eagles credit for this.

Someone has to step up in that receiving core. Even with Gronk back there's still issues. If we still want that top seed we have to win out now.

I give them credit that they fought back, but they gave away this game to a team that had no business losing to. I was disgusted by their performance today. They gifted this win to the Eagles.

Overall, I like the fight in this team, but today I am more disgusted with this team than I have been in a long while because I know they are better than the stupid mistakes they made today.

Three bad plays. They'll fix that.

Love them too! And no significant injuries!! A miracle. First time in how long??? The coming weeks we will start to see them trickle back.

Horrible playcalling, stupid onside kick while up by 14, receiver's dropping passes and not consistently getting open, Brady's horrible interceptions, Special teams completely ****ting the bed, Offensive line getting beaten like a rented mule, inability to run the football.

And most importantly the lead for a bye and home field advantage has completely evaporated due to this lackluster performance. Also the injury bug can seriously eat a giant middle finger.

There uncharacteristically stupid plays. And stupid play calling on offense and special teams.

Don't get me wrong. I am not quitting on this team. I just think this was one of the two easy wins left for the Pats and they only lost because of stupidity by the Pats.

2 weeks in a row they couldn't stop the bleeding when the momentum turned, great fight in the 4th quarter but it's easy to rack up points in garbage time bad teams do it every week.

Sorry, but losing is losing...no matter how much you try to spin it. There's no such thing as a "good" loss

I understand the patriots don't have the weapons, but being conservative last 2 minutes before the half are beginning to be annoying.

Yeah, only too bad they didn't put the ****ing effort they put while trailing 3 TDs, for 60 straight minutes. As Robert Duval said in 'Days of Thunder': "We looked like a monkey ****ing a football out there..." SMH, what a 5hitty ass performance.

Pats lose - check
broncos win - check
Bengals win - check
Pats go from #1 to #3 seed - check
Rest 3 AFC teams win - check
My FF team loses - check
And last but not least, just for good measure - Panthers remain undefeated.

what a ****ing weekend it has been for me. Christ.

Actually, this week was worse because they started off just content to run down the clock and then decided to go for points and then ended up being content to just run down the clock.

If Pats win out they're guaranteed the 2nd seed at worst.

They'll clean it up and, oh yeah, hopefully have their two biggest weapons other than Brady back on offense.

It was only one game so no need to jump off the nearest bridge, but that was a pathetic effort by the Pats. There were far more terrible mistakes than just 3. Every deep pass to LaFell was just stupid. He's caught one of those in the past month or so and that was against the Giants, nearly a month ago. Enough with the damn deep bombs already. The terrible ST play, spotty coaching and the inexcusable amount of miscues on offense cost this team a win against one of the worst teams in the league.

Three bad plays. They'll fix that.
They had more than 3 bad plays each quarter. They had double digit drops, two INTs in the end zone, gave up 2 special teams TDs and a some bizarre onsides-like kick when up by 14 in the 1st half.

The coaches have costed us 2 games. If we cannot repeat, BB should blame the person he sees in the mirror.

Not really a moral victory kinda guy. This game goes in the right-hand column like any other loss and hamstrings NE in the HFA chase.

As a fan of the long-term accomplishments go hell yeah I love this team! Imagine being a lions or Browns fan, THAT is pain divine.

Not to be facetious, but the Patriots have a s—t game like this one every year, almost like clockwork.

Heck, the 17–2 2004 Patriots team should have been 18–1, but they gave away a game to Miami that they had no business losing.

Man.. the Brady reception, onside kick recovery, and fumble recovery... I was freaking out. Would've been one hell of a comeback; what a ride!
