The reality is that we were still very far from an undefeated season, basically only halfway there at 10-0. On top of that, there were still some tough road tests ahead, including last night.
After all, the Pats had lost 8/17 past road games coming into this season including the postseason, which is something that goes a bit unnoticed. They lost 3 last season and all 5 of their losses in 2013 came on the road. Assuming that we'd just breeze by @DEN, @HOU, and another back to back (we have won only 4/9 past times in back to back road games overall lately) stretch of divisional games @NYJ and
@MIA was borderline insane to me.
Then, even if that happened, we'd go on to face 3 games in a row vs. top tier competition, for the hardest stretch of the entire year. Why were people assuming an undefeated season? Just because they got off to a good start and were halfway there? This 2015 team is much more like a 2003, 2004, or 2010 team with a couple of losses, than it ever was a 2007 team. Just my opinion.
