With Cannon being ruled OUT, it is even more likely that Causell will be added to the roster..
It's going to be interesting to see what the rosters moves are.

Barker more likely

Branch has been playing well.

Jones is not a run stuffer.

Removing Branch leaves Seal as the only proven run stuffer on the interior D-line. I like Hicks and Brown's promise but the jury is still out.
I don't know if Branch has been playing that well really, and I would take my chances with Siliga,
Hicks & Brown as our run-stopping half of the DTs.
(I believe that Thornton had already been waived, so I didn't name him as my candidate to be cut.)

Branch has been ok.

I think they want to see more consistency out of Brown before the move Branch.

If Kline is healthy he has played OT and could save a roster move.
Regarding all the talk about Jones, Jones has not practiced and will not be activated this week. I think we are done with roster moves this week.

We still have an injured Johnson (our 6th DE) if we wish to activate an OT.

Of course, that presumes that we want the maintain the ability to play seven safeties on defense.

Interesting about Kline, if he can be an emergency OT fill in that would be extremely useful. Could you elaborate, did he play OT in college, or did he play snaps as OT for the Pats (whether practice, preseason, or as an injury fill in for past season games)?

You and I are the only ones who seem to recall that Barker played lots of reps at LT in the preseason.
I also recall seeing Barker at LT, and doing a poor job of it.

Started 7 games in college at RT. Not for us. Somebody has practiced there and is our third OT though.

Assume McDonald will be released after this game for Stork, someone was going to have to go anyway. Perhaps Rufus will be IRed.

That Foxboro Fever is starting to spread.

Bill will soon deploy a 10 safety defense. The big 1-10.

This new move something to do with Bolden's hamstring perhaps? He normally plays on all the ST units I think.
