Any news?

No news means bad news.

Sorry...I come from a long line of pessimists.

Mrs. Rover likes to say she's a short term pessimist and a long term optimist.

I then pointed out that meant during every current moment of her life, she was a pessimist.

....a comment which, somehow, made her even more pessimistic. Towards me. LOL

Actually this may not be true. He had an MRI yesterday and if he has an ACL then he is slated for surgery and an IR designation is forthcoming. A lesser and not season-ending injury would not have an immediate IR designation, and we would not hear anything except "DNP-knee" on the injury report for a while. So not placing him on IR is potentially good news consistent with his eventual return (albeit could be 4-6 weeks).

LOL!

Yea Mrs RW feeds me the same line. It works for me. That way I am rarely disappointing, almost always pleasantly surprised and if the downside of the situation stinks I try hard to make it a workable.

Like Gordon Gekko says, "Pessimism is Good".

Potentially. They announced Solder to IR on a Wednesday.

Last year they announced Mayo and Ridley on a Thursday.

With that said, if they do IR Slater (which would really suck) that opens up a roster spot for a player that can legitimately contribute on either the offense or defense.

Gordon Geico said, "Pessemisim will save you 15% or more on your car insurance."

Last season it took a few days for Mayo to be put on IR for some reason. So don't read into him not being on IR yet.

That totally inexcusable delay-of-game penalty on 2nd and 4 on their final offensive drive may have cost them Slater's season. They're lucky it didn't also cost them the game.

What kills me is they got a delay-of-game then took a timeout, and the announcers didn't even blink. A bad team would have gotten raked over the coals for such a boneheaded series of events.

Yeah you can't look at injuries that way. You might as well have just said that if Slater ziged instead of zaged he would have been fine on the play.

Nobody is making guarantees. But no news is not necessarily ominous. Every day without an IR designation is preferable to the alternative.

More worried about hip here but report of knee, Video not conclusive, but not seeing long term injury @SlaterMatthew

You're*

And I will! After that, I'll drive by the Checker's drive through window and let you know what I find out.

Your cleaning van wont fit thru the drive through. Remember what happened the last time?

Cmon in this time.

Checkers is trash, though. The only way I'd come in there is with a radiation suit and a flamethrower.

Its still no reason to tear off the drive thru roof.

There's only one HUGE problem with your comments.. It was already shown that the timekeeper didn't reset the clock properly and that's why they got the delay of game penalty..
