Colts sign RB Ahmad Bradshaw

Breaking News - We have agreed to terms with Ahmad Bradshaw

... ok. They were already pretty solid at RB, so to whatever extent this helps them, the benefit will be marginal. Would've been a lot more productive to bring in some veteran help at literally any position on their defense, or any OL position except LT.

Over the course of the season, it should help them keep Frank Gore fresh, so it's not a useless signing or anything. Just not something that I expect to change the complexion of this week's game in any significant capacity.

I'd be shocked if he does. They have to understand by now that he has a very limited number of snaps in him before his feet shut him down. I expect they'll use those limited snaps to rotate him with Gore and try to keep them both healthy enough to contribute down the stretch.

I was going to say something like "I wonder how that team would look if they hadn't had the extreme fortune to have Luck available the year after Manning broke down with the injury". Then I remembered. I've already seen that. That's what the 2014 Raiders was. Just signing all the available players that had been good or great, but wasn't any more because of age.
