OT: Freeman Slobberfest over Rodgers

I cannot wait until January. That's usually when the Rodgers love dies down as he makes his usual early playoff exit.

Aaron Rodgers is really, really good. I don't think he has a resume that suggests GOAT but I'm not antagonized by people who want to slobber over the guy. His no INTs at Lambeau streak is extremely impressive.

Aaron Rodgers is an absolute phenom. I have not seen anyone like him...his accuracy and velocity is always the same no matter what angle he throws from. And he just doesn't make mistakes.

That said, I'd rather have Brady. No, not because I'm a homer, but because Brady wins. He always finds ways to win, no matter how steep the climb, and his teammates will rally around him. Brady is a better overall leader than Rodgers.

#firemikefreeman is a trend on bleacher report for a reason

rodgers is nothing more than a fantasy football player

GB isn't making it that far.

Uhhhhh, yeah they are.

Edit: Unless Dallas can somehow make it into the playoffs, then Green Bay's going to the Super Bowl. There's a very real possibility that Kam Chancellor has played his last down as a Seahawk. The Legion of Boom isn't the dominating force they were a year ago without him. There's also a possibility that the Seahawks miss the playoffs entirely, though I think they still will as a wildcard. But their offensive scheme is just a mess. Losing Unger is proving to be huge. Don't allow Wilson to run to the outside and their run game is a shade of its former self. The Seahawks are in trouble.

Then there's the Cardinals or Falcons as the next two threats. Green Bay is going to be the #1 seed, and I don't see anyone outside of a healthy Dallas going in to Lambeau and winning.

I have no problem saying that Rodgers might be the most skilled passer of all-time.

That's not the same thing as being the greatest QB.
This is the same thing that we've seen for almost two decades with Manning; the inability of the sports media to distinguish passing statistics from playing the position of quarterback, and the substitution of regular season passing numbers over playoff performance as the benchmark of greatness.

Could Rodgers be the GOAT? maybe. But he needs to win at least 2 more rings to get into that convo.

I will say this. Brady vs Rodgers would be the best QB match up in the SB ever IMO. The way both are playing right now is crazy good.

Better than Marino/Montana, Staubach/Bradshaw Favre/Elway. Elway/Montana

I don't think you have ever seen 2 QBs playing this well in that game. I do hope it happens from a pure fan perspective.

That might be going a bit too far. The guy is a great talent, he just isn't on Brady's level, and therefore should not be considered the GOAT.

Rodger's playoff record: 7-5.

Brady's playoff record after 12 games: 11-1.

They are not close to equal in what matters most, winning playoff games and winning championships. Rodgers will be 32 at the end of this season. He doesn't have a lot of time to catch Brady, particularly when you consider that Brady is still posting playoff victories and winning championships.
