I like the aggressive offense, but sometimes just getting the first down is better.

I like being aggressive, but I hate dialing up a play where, no matter how open Edelman is, that's a relatively low-percentage throw for Brady. He doesn't loft those balls exceptionally well. Even if it's a 60% proposition, just get the first down. Clock is your friend.

Im ok with them training situational football in real game, at least this is my reading on that pass, because they could have used mason or blount.
