That phone interview was amazing hahahahahahahahaha

They asked him over and over again if Mort did a good job and he repeatedly said that Mort is his colleague and friend and a great journalist and that he'd never criticize a coworker at ESPN, and he compared ESPN reporters to teammates on a football team. A grown-ass man with a high-profile job in the world of professional journalism made that comparison.

He repeatedly and indignantly croaked out the insistence that he loves chilling at Foxborough with the boyz and he can't wait for his book signing today at Patriot Place hahahahaha

A guy defends his coworker? Shock horror.

He can't criticise Mort publicly. It's hilarious if they were trolling him, but fruitless to try and get him to slag off a colleague.

He did say not every wave he's gotten at Patriot Place included all 5 fingers.

Can't wait til Barstool's story picks up and gets ESPN in trouble.

I don't mind the D&C "Whack a Troll" segment although I find it the same thing that Ordway used to do with Dakota from Braintree except unlike Dakota the people D&C are ripping apart are paid to hate the Pats.

That said, I kinda felt bad for Sal Paolantonio. He got killed by association. He isn't Mort and he has no say on how ESPN treats the Pats and he also has been mildly pro Patriots and Brady during this whole mess.

I will give Sal credit. He stood in there and took it far better than most of the other guys who have been in the "Whack a Troll" segment. He cannot trash Mort (I am sure ESPN has given marching orders that everyone must publicly support Mort) and he didn't even know what ESPN did to Mike Reiss.

He did it in the most juvenile unintelligent way which was the best reaction they could've hoped for

So, IF there is anyone at his book signing this afternoon at Gillette, how will people be trolling him there?

Did anyone ask him about ESPN censoring Reiss' work? That would have been interesting.

I'm no fan of Sal Pal or ESPN, but this routine of Kirk Minihane attacking other media members, be that part of his station or others, is getting pretty old. I had to turn it off. There's a fricken game tonight, and no one is talking about it.

Mort can't use Twitter anymore. He's going to get Tomase'd.

WHATEVER NERDS
Okay, so you make a BS original post and still refuse to expound on it after people made you aware of this, and we're "nerds?" Mods, it might be time to do your stuff with this thread . . .

Also they trolled the **** out of him, it was raw

Specifics would be beneficial to the reader, but it sounds like the same old crap from the Bobsey Twins + Angry Kurt...

Glad I missed it..
