The players that have supported Brady have been a lot of Seahawks one from Bennet to Baldwin and Sherman they witnessed first hand that Brady is just the GOAT on that beautiful night in Arizona.

Yeah, I feel Brady's play in that game, most notably how he never quit, unwittingly earned SEA's respect.

Wickersham and Van Natta spoke to a source from the Carolina Panthers who seemed to imply New England's "cheating" cost the Carolina Panthers Super Bowl XXXVIII.

"Our players came in after that first half and said it was like [the Patriots] were in our huddle," the source said, adding, "Do I have any tape to prove they cheated? No. But I'm convinced they did it."
You never have to deal with "they beat me" if you can convince yourself the other guy cheated you and that's why you didn't win. FYI the Panthers shut down the Patriots in the first half too.

True, but so did just about everyone at ESPNFL and currently. Yet, they do not seem to want to acknowledge the greatness, so I don't take it for granted.

Yeah, considering there's a clip of Sherman telling his teammates that they took Brady's heart. LOL If the Giants did not do it in '07, nobody can do it. The man is incredible.

It reminds me of the clown in the Rams SB saying Tom was overrated. I guess somewhat to his defense, I don't even know if I realized what we had at that time. Brady's story is the most unlikely thing ever. He truly is the G.O.A.T.

The Giants were cheating, they were in the Patriots backfield all day.

Without cheating, no one ever slowed down that Jake Delhomme offense whose offensive line "made a mistake" by using steroids but didn't actually cheat themselves.

They were in the huddle.

Ernie Adams.

Knowing what the other team is likely to do isn't coincidence.
Yup, and that's exactly the point Sherman made in the article. Dude, is there really a team that prepares harder than NE? I mean, veterans who have played for years come to NE and say it's like nothing they've ever seen before. Fred Taylor (among many others) raved about the football environment within Gillette and how everyone from the top to the bottom and back again just works harder than anyone/anything he's ever seen. But of course cheating is how they win?! Yeah, let Carolina, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh talk all the ******** they want.

It's nice unlike the last three teams that we have a team that's not bitter over losing to us in the SB.

Probably Pete Carroll did something right.

I was going to say they won just the year before, so they have to respect a new winner -- but almost the same was true of the Rams, and they had ridiculous feelings of entitlement ...

I've always loved Sherman, always will.

Bryan Cox taught me to limit how much I hate someone just for being obnoxious on the field cause someday they might put on a Pats' jersey and I'll ****ing love it.

This is one reason why I never hated Richard Sherman. Yeah, he's a loudmouth. Yeah, he gets under peoples' collective skin. Yeah, he is borderline disrespect. But yeah, HE IS SMART. I have always said this and it's not because he has supported Brady in this since. I respect the dude. Anyway, enough of what I think. Read and discuss.

Sherman is the man! I had hated him after he got in Brady's face after the loss a few years ago in Seattle. We all remember the "You Mad Bro" moment. What a **** right.

Then for a few years we watched him ascend and heard the brash comments and it didn't help.

But then something happened. You might have seen it. We beat him in a Super Bowl. And after the game he was the very first one to shake Brady's hand. I don't care how annoying the "You Mad Bro" moment was you got to respect him for going up to him even after the loss.

The author of the article is still writing under the assumption that they are guilty of the unsubstantiated accusations by anonymous sources. Nice to see what Sherman had to say though.

Because "ooh! They were the greatest show on turf! A destined dynasty!" And look where that franchise is now. Haven't gone to the playoffs in over a decade and might be on their way back to LA.

But you know, that's what I always thought sports was about. Talk your sh*t. But if the other player beats you, give props. I don't know. That was always the unspoken code on the hardtop in Brooklyn, NY. Some of the best trash talkers in the world are from BK (yours truly as well), but we gave props when the other guy was better.

I respect Sherman a great deal. He is even winning me over and I can soon call myself a fan. He said something in the article I said in '07, yesterday and today: YOU STILL HAVE TO STOP THE OTHER GUY ON THE FIELD. Michael Jordan used to tell the guy guarding him exactly what he was going to do and then he would do just that. You still have to stop it. Whatever. I'm done with all of these cheating stories. I have already declared myself out of the media. I am couting down to the game tomorrow and every game thereafter on Patsfans.com, Patriots.com and sometimes Patspulpit.com. I don't need anything else.

Van Natta doesn't stop once to even realize that prior to that Super Bowl, the last time the Patriots played the Panthers, George Seifert was the coach. Now I know that some coaches are sloppy and lazy but I never imagined that the Panthers coaches would keep the signals from the previous regime.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I posted it anyway because Sherman says what we and anyone who knows or has played a sport knows - you still have to beat the other guy even if you know everything he is going to do. You don't think teams playing the Lions knew Barry was getting the ball almost every play?! He still gashed teams for 100 yards. You don't think people knew Brady was going deep to Moss in '07? Still, he had 23 TD's and Brady had 50.

The Seahawks defended the Pats because they know they got beat fair and square. New England is the only team in NFL history to come back from 10 down at the start of a 4th quarter of a SB . . . against the best D in the NFL? C'mon. I think Seattle's players are more upset with Carroll than the Pats anyway. LOL
