Seahawks waive OLB Eric Pinkins

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/9699/eric-pinkins

We have no speed whatsoever at backup OLB. Freeny & Martin are just terrible and undeserving of a roster spot on this team.
Martin ran a 4.53 at 237 before bulking up to 250 since then. I'm not sure by what standards that's "no speed."

...Oh, I see. You would rather have a big safety who calls himself a linebacker. Belichick prefers a guy who is actually, you know, a linebacker.

Edit: I take it back after seeing the more recent posts. This isn't a linebacker issue. This is a severe case of "grass is greener" syndrome.

Well to all you looking for a Lafell replacement, there you go.

"NFL COMPARISON Brandon LaFell"

If the Pats truly want a BIG receiver, they should be all over Dez Lewis. Tre McBride is only 6'0", but can jump, I'd take him if they don't grab Lewis.

Henry Hynoski might be interesting to Belichick if he wants to plug in a proven vet FB. Won a ring with the Giants and was more than serviceable for four years. Seems like a perfect match. I'd be very surprised if we don't see, at least, a visit in the next few days.

I know he was released by the Titans.. I figured he was a binkie.. So what that he's a WR from William and Mary..

That doesn't tell me about the player and WHY he's a favorite..

If you are really interested in depth of information then use the search function inside the draft subforum and inform yourself. There is tons of discussion about him..

A bit of nostalgia for us draftees (only back to 2014 ). Linebackers Jordan Tripp and Tyler Starr were both waived today.

Really surprised about Tripp. Was disappointed we didn't get him two drafts ago.

Someone will definitely put a claim in ahead of us, unfortunately... 6'3 CB, 2nd round pick

I think BB & co had a good look at him in our joint practices and I am also sure the Saints tried to shop him around (to recover at least something from a 2nd round pick). So I doubt that we would put in a waiver claim.

The Jesters had a couple of interesting cuts today, including:

WR Shaq Evans, but maybe his shoulder still isn't right
TE (and local dude) Arthur Lynch
OT Charles Brown - possible Swing Tackle
OL Wes Johnson - LT/LG/C backup
ILB Taiwan Jones - legit backup ILB, would've been a better pick than X ****son

Lynch and Jones would pique my interest, although Lynch hasn't seemed to look too good from what I hear.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw him cut.

The dude isn't a linebacker, unless BB playing him at end all preseason was an experiment.

Miami certainly weren't keen on their kickers last year. Sturgis and Fields both gone!

LB Mason Foster? I highly doubt he's worse than Freeny as the 4th LB.

Cowboys trading for Christine Michael according to Twitter.

Logan Thomas claimed by Miami
Louis Nix by Giants
