Texans waived Charles James, the CB/RB who became well known on Hard Knocks. He looked good and we have a need at both positions...a waiver claim might make sense.

I think he went undrafted because of some serious health issues. Pretty sure he suited up this pre-season though. might you be thinking of Josh Freeman who was 'Bama's NT before Williams? He went in the 3rd and is now on the Colts.

He's been fighting cancer. Derailed his career a bit, for obvious/unfortunate reasons.

I think this is the end of the road for Nicks. Too bad, he had a ton of talent coming out of college.

Great player for Alabama. Tough as nails, even compared to other defensive lineman.

Unfortunately he had a cancerous kidney removed, and it may have got in his lymph nodes, so he doesn't know if he is cancer free yet or not.

He is a guy I wanted for the Patriots. I think he would be a great addition if healthy, but that is far from a certainly unfortunately.

Colts have released Josh Chapman and Montori Hughes. Who needs DTs now they don't have to face Jonas Gray?

They also released Chris Carter's son Duron. Shame.
