I have to echo the comments of drob83... I'm happy as heck for the kid, but WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY????? the Patriots?!

I wish much success to the kid and I can't wait to see him in his first Pro Bowl (in a losing seasonf for the Pats, of course).

Now that New England fans have gotten over the initial shock of Bill Belichick drafting a supposed Miami bad boy. . .

I wasn't shocked at all when they picked Meriweather. I had them taking him at 24 and David Harris at 28 (1/2 ain't bad.) I really wanted them to take Meriweather and I was so glad when they did.

I thought they were going to pick Meriweather for at least a month before the draft.....

So I was totally and amazingly shocked when they actually did! hehehe

Its my first correct prediction since they took Dan Koppen in 2003.
