So they're saying we are all delusional for thinking the NFL is out to get us.
Ha okay
You can't expect fans of other teams to spend the time to read the Wells report, appeal transcripts, AEI etc... They are not going to do that. Instead they are going to read headlines and listen to radio shows to get their information.
Look, the NFL ran a brilliant PR campaign. Everyone was talking about 2 psi. That led to the "competitive advantage" mantra...then the Sharp analysis, football players throwing the balls around on TV and Mr.Weepies tearful opinion.
There is a reason why the Wells report does not state how much air they believe McNally released from those footballs. If they had put a statement such as, "we believe that Mr. McNally went into the bathroom and released anywhere from 0 to 0.4 psi from those footballs", everything that had been built upon the 2 psi report would haven taken a huge hit. Instead Wells report represents the 0 - 0.4 with nifty little charts and spreads out the relevant data through out the report instead of one page.
I lived in Northern NJ for 4 years and worked with a bunch Jets, Giants and Yankee fans. We would talk trash about each others teams all day lone. It was all in good fun though. On a funny side note: The most satisfying "trash talking" experience I have ever had was after the Red Sox came back from an 0-3 deficit in the 2004 ALCS. Classic, classic moment.
Bottom line is I will learn to live with them calling me delusional but they will never be able to get over the Pats winning 4 Superbowls and the rest of the success the Pats have had. OH, and they also have to live with the Butt fumble and the new Jawgate. hahaha
Give them credit though. If they say they are a Jets fan you know they are because they definitely do not have a band wagon to ride on. Man, it must be tough to be Jets fan. I'm kinda of feeling sorry for them....ok..never mind .....I don't.
