Have the 15 page briefs been filed? They were due today and I would think they have to be in before close of business, whatever that is for the Federal Court in NY. I'd love to see how Kessler ties it all together.

I just checked PACER, no they have not. In federal court, there is no "close of business" cutoff, so they literally have until 11:59 p.m. to file. Both sides are probably waiting until late to file, so that the other side receives no competitive advantage by seeing the other side's brief early. We routinely wait until very late to file certain types of briefs for this reason.

Guess I'll stay up somewhat late tonight to see what drops.

Thanks. It makes sense everyone waits 'till the last moment. They will make for good morning reading.

I want to see what the NFL writes in its 15pager

So excuse my ignorance of the legal system, but these briefs will be available for the public?

Yes, the briefs are available to the public. I'm sure someone with access to the court computer system will make them available on the Internet. The original filings as well as the NFL appeal transcripts are already available.

I want to see what the NFL writes in its 15pager

"Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it. Brady totally did it."

I thought the NFLPA filed their 15 page brief along with the appeal transcripts, but I guess I could be wrong. I do know that they had to include it with their brief if they didn't file it before hand.

There has been much more "to read" than I had ever imagined. I dunno if this NY judge will be a help in the end - but he sure has made for some fun times !
