Beckett is 7-0 baby!!!

Josh Beckett as of now is still amazing me lets hope he can keep this up. Also Dice-K on mound 2night verse Jays lets hope he can pick up a win on a solid outing.

Seems the blister thing has been resolved finally.

He's finally pitching instead of throwing. I also heard that he is wearing a bandaid on his "blister area" in between starts so not to irritate it...suggested to him by AL Leiter I believe

The bandaid didn't give him a good feel on his breaking pitches during his bullpen sessions, which resulted in poor control over them during games and thus lots of fastballs. The blister problem was solved because the medical staff realized that the blisters stemmed from eczema, which is far easier to control and prevent than a blister.

So now without the bandaid and without the eczema Beckett has only himself to blame for anything but a great season.

Other than the last line about my opinions on his performance this season everything I wrote is based on facts reported in the news. A few minutes on google can leave you with all the information you can want about Beckett and his blister issues.

Beckett has been lights out, but don't forget about Wake.. something like a 1.76 ERA.. that is incredible. He is like the eveready bunny.. just keeps going and going.

Dice-K now has 7 wins, too, and right now I would say is more likely to get twenty wins than Beckett (heatlh reasons)

Something tells me this won't be Beckett's only stint on the DL this season

I agree, and I think Beckett will end up getting about 15 wins this season
