Until we know what Robert bargained for we are all talking out our a22. Brady's suit is still in play until we hear it's not from Kessler.

The acrimony on this board has been unprecedented. No way has it gone unnoticed.

Just hang on to it until we know exactly what has been bargained for else we sound like Jets fans.

If he agreed to reduce the fine and caved on the draft picks, then yeah he eff'd us.

It's "keep your powDer dry"

God you are. delusional. He got nothing. What part of caved do not understand.

I get where you're coming from, but Robert should not have had to bargain for anything.

He was in the right. I take that back, WE - PATS NATION were in the right on this one. Kraft chose his money and his billionaire boy's club above this team, above his player. He let us down.

He didn't need to give up anything to bolster Brady's stance. The Wells report does that on its own. Kraft caved in for personal interests.

They were speculating on NFLN that Kraft capitulated to make Goodell more amenable for Brady's appeal. Not sure I agree with that, I think Kraft wanted to please the other owners.
I agree with you. The timing and setting of the announcement weren't a coincidence.

Kraft could have held out until the end and made the other owners / Goodell squirm a bit, wondering if and when it would end. Trust me, Goodell didn't want this to go to court because one can never predict how a court will respond. And any deal that "helps" Brady, short of total and complete exoneration, would actually hurt him.

Perhaps, but I don't see how today's event has any connection with Tom Brady's suspension. As far as we know, Brady's appeal is still proceeding as it was, and his legal representatives/NFLPA don't seem interested in making a deal with the Commissioner - nor should they. Brady wants a full exhoneration - and he's not willing to give up his honor like Kraft has

My powder is now soaked in Knob Creek.

Until the Pats are proven "not guilty" , and that's not happening, there's no other avenue. Face it, he screwed you. If you think it's getting better, you're in for a let down. There is no runner up prize coming. The Pats " Are cheaters". How's that look in your trophy case? Get used to hit. You'll be hearing for your lifetime.

He earned the "right" of listen and make all the things Goodell wants. Im not sure who won in this agreement

But the "cheater" moniker? That's not worth all the money in the world. I think there's a word for it...Oh yea, "integrity" . What an F'n joke. I will despise that word for the rest of my life.

Even IF Kraft caved because Goodell agreed to be more lenient of Tom or whatever that just means he is a moron along with being a coward. Tom and the NFLPA don't want this to end with some deal with Goodell, they want their day in court.
I hope that goodell does not reduce the sentence so this can go to court . Right now iam more worried goodell will reduce the suspension to 1 or 2 games at kraft's behest and kraft will ask Brady to take the deal. This whole mess looks even worse for the pats even if kraft made no deal with goodell because any reduced suspension will lead everyone to believe otherwise

He got nothing. He voluntarily quit the fight. There was no negotiation. He gave up everything and got nothing in return. He accepted every piece of the largest penalty ever for something we were not guilty of. Worst decision in league history.

What he gave: Everything

What we lost: Everything

What he got: An attaboy.
An attaboy from the owners and Goodell but he needs to feel the wrath from Patriots fans. He's so used to being beloved. It will cut him deeply when he meets with Patriots fans and we tell him how we feel. I hope it hurts as much as I hurt now.

You mean Goodell won't be impartial? The appeal is rigged? Tell me it ain't so.

What we didn't lose and wasn't Kraft's to lose or Goodell's to steal:

I'm afraid to say I don't think he got a "secret deal" of any kind. I love playing the "what if" game but I can't see it.
