Jets Suck -- 2015 Edition (Official): Countdown to Oblivion

I've mentioned this before, my parrot craps Jets colors -- green and white. Yesterday after his morning poo he looked down at it and said, "Look! It's Darrelle Revis!" We both laughed hysterically.

Parrots have a great mocking laugh.

True. Along with humans, dolphins and the great apes, they understand sarcasm. They also have a natural aversion to crimes against nature, such as the Jets.

My faith in Jets' sucking credentials is being shaken by their free agent signing bonanza. Loading up on pricey free agents led by a mediocrity at QB usually translates into disappointment (like the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles "dream team"). However, a loaded defense with a crummy QB is capable of winning it all (2000 Ravens).

Please allay my concerns.

The bird's great. He doesn't think anyone in the draft can help New Jersey reach the playoffs either -- especially after they're forced to switch No. 1 picks with New England for tampering.

Rex will slit the birds throat in your sleep as karma

I'm actually looking forward to the Bills-Jets games this year. Which is a bizarre thing.
Want to see what Rex gameplans against the Jet's D, knowing their weaknesses as well as he does.

For evidence of genuinely enduring suckage, you need look no further than Green Beans fans like our guest, NY10JETS28, who thinks Wrecks Ryan still is his team's head coach. Your concerns have been allayed.

They might stop being a joke this year. Their intent is clear. Go all out. There is a real possibility that they can get Mariota as well.

OF COURSE they'll get better on the field, this was inevitable. They had $50 million in cap space (a large percentage of which they squandered on Revis). None of that changes their slimy organization or cretinous fan base any.

This signing spree does Not matter, this is the jest. It doesn't matter who they bring in be it a player or coach in the end the dysfunction seeps in and takes over and the jest crash and burn. Its part of a cosmic dynamic.

If the Bears can't win with Jeffery, Marshall, Forte, Bennett and Cutler, what makes the Jets think they can win with Decker, Marshall and Fitzpatrick?

Heh heh, this compels a cogent response. Consider:

* If you crawled out from beneath your rock more often, you'd know Wrecks no longer is your team's coach.
* Wrecks already has compiled too much karmic debt in this lifetime to dish any out.
* At this very moment, Wrecks is devising plans to kick your team's ass.
* As fan of a team that has incurred karma's wrath for 46 years, you are caught in its maelstrom and have no perspective for discerning its prudent ways.
* My bird is stealth personified and can sense Jets spiritual stench a mile away. I told him about your post. An hour later, he's still laughing.

I don't blame Joe Willie. He was in no condition to have a mic thrown in front of his face. I thought Suzy handled it great. She didn't miss a beat with her thanks Joe return.

So who's this Gunnails person? I didn't know there was such a thing as a decent Jets fan. ;)

I heard this story from a friend who heard it from someone else, so take it with as many grains of salt as you'd like:

Namath was at that game, with a large number of his old teammates, so the SBIII team could be honored. The plan was to have the old guys re-enact a play from the Super Bowl. Nothing crazy, just something like Matt Snell's TD run from the 4. The problem was Namath was in no condition to handle his responsibilities on that play (take the snap and hand the ball off), so they had to scrap the whole idea. I don't know who thought having him do a live interview was a good choice.

With Cromartie and Revis they are going to have an incredible secondary. Decker and Marshall very good receivers as well. It's just a shame Jets don't have anybody to throw them the ball.

Actually, I think they did run the commemorative play. I was sitting in the corner end zone and distinctly recall Namath huddling with his old mates. He was very animated.

They can't stop Gronk.

So who else do the Jets have for a 1 year sabbatical to get a ring and a good contract pulling the prodigal son routine?
