The Most Egregious Case of Tampering Ever

The former Jets employee will never punish them. Gee did you think Revis knew that the Jets would break the bank for him? All he had to do is watch TV

The league will release their tampering decision and Ted Wells's report the same day. So when the Jets get hit with only a $25,000 fine, the media be too preoccupied with the Wells report.

The NFL is a disgrace. This is the worst case of tampering the league has ever seen. The Patriots got completely f.cked in as public a manner as possible. The Kraft's need to push this to the limit and demand the Jets number 6 pick in this draft.
Don't hold your breath
Time to move on

I'm not worried.

Jets will lose a pick and we shall receive it.

The question really is does a all time player with this caliper talent with video evidence of tampering get us a 2nd or do they do something stupid like make us switch positions in the draft in round 5 or something

After Woody's comments, the media were continuing to let it known the Jets were after Revis and would pay top dollar right up until the contract was signed. If this wasn't tampering big time, I don't know what is.

Anything less than a first round pick being given to us is an insult.

I'm not expecting anything major or anything. I just want some punishment and acknowledgment, and I'm not sure even that is coming.

The most disappointing thing about this thread is the timing. Seriously, where was this thread when the tampering first occurred? I've been demanding a 1st round draft swap since day one. Now that Revis is gone we see this thread? Shameful! Absolutely Shameful! Now that Revis is with the Jets I want a 1st round draft swap this season, and a 1st round draft swap next season.

its pay back for Deflategate. nothing will be done about tampering or deflated balls

It makes all the ***ing sense. It's not fair to punish a player for something a team's management did. The NFLPA would grieve it and they'd be damned right to.
It's punishing the team. It just makes no sense that you can cheat to get a player and still get to keep him. There's still many other teams out there he could sign with.

where have you ever had blatant high profile tampering followed by the signing of that tampered individual? How can the NFL possibly not slam the Jets here? Kraft - you need to push this..

If they don't punish the Jets, they just set one hell of a precedent and better watch out for the next time it happens.. If they try to punish the next offender, they will argue rightfully that if Woody wasn't punished, neither should they...
