Except that he's not a free agent until the start of the new season. Which is different than being cut like Darnell Dockett was.

I guess Wilfork wasn't worth the cap hit after all.
 
Vince will be probably still very good next year, so i think that this is pats scenario.
He is gonna test the market, if he is paid high number they get high compensatory pick,
or else they match low lvl offer, but probably not.
