I understand that running a good 40 should help his draft stock. I'm thrilled with that. What I don't understand is why that would suggest going "all in" on him at 32 for the Pats, even allowing for differences in what people value as a draft choice.

We all have our binkies. I read "all in" as an expression of support for a binky.

I'm not worried about Abdullah's long speed. He wins with his quickness. Let's see his SS and 3cone.

Either Mayock or Jeremiah said that he fumbled 24 times. I like him as a runner but that's a ton of fumbles.

Yup, that's his biggest problem but he did improve year by year. He's a much better runner than Vereen and could contribute well in the passing game.

Marcus Hardison isn't working out at the combine because of a minor knee injury picked up at senior bowl. Will test t the ASU pro day. Was really looking forward to his performance this week.

Mayock gives a 2nd round grade to Devin Smith. He said Smith tracks the deep ball better than any receiver he's seen in a few years.

Looking at Abdullah, my biggest issue with him is his fumbles. 23 fumbles in his college career. Belichick has been known to sit players for fumbling once or twice…. never mind 23 fumbles.

Abdullah would never make it out of BB's doghouse. He has naturally small hands, so it might not be something that can be corrected.

Coates has bust written all over him. Can't track the ball at all, and his hand-eye coordination is terrible.

He looks like the part of a star WR more than anyone else at the Combine. Classic looks like Tarzan plays like Jane IMO.

Like Conley's hands, it could be a technique thing. Abdullah has improved in that area year on year. He also has the reputation as one of the smartest guys out there football wise. BB will like that.
