Moore and Butler are similar in the sense they have great instincts. Moore was one of my favorites when he was here but sadly he lacks even adequate NFL athleticism.
Despite that, he settled in the league as a decent #3/nickel CB for the Cowboys this year. He was an upgrade over Claiborne.
Butler held his own vs. Sanders, made plays vs. B. Marshall in garbage time, got torched by Mike Wallace, and had an unbelievable 2nd half in the SB. That's all we really have to go on him from his rookie year.
Butler is a better athlete than Moore. I'm not sure his ceiling but I think he'll be an NFL #3/#4 CB. It would be so cool if he progressed to the point to have a Revis/Butler duo for years to come .
