Hell Freezes Over Alert. Gary Myers of NYDailyNews: Brady is "the greatest...in NFL history"

I know the weather is pretty cold in the Northeast, but I do believe that hell might be freezing over today:

"Tom Brady is just getting warmed up.

"He’s now the greatest quarterback in NFL history. He has four Super Bowl titles and wants more. He has three Super Bowl MVPs and can get more. He will be 38 in August and retirement is not even a thought in his mind. He sounds like he wants to play until he’s 50.

"The 2007 Patriots were the first 16-0 team in the regular season, won two playoff games and if not for the Tyree catch when referee Mike Carey probably should have called Manning in the grasp before he released the ball, the Pats would have had a perfect season. They finished 18-1."

I just finished reading this, what caught my attention other than the obvious was he mentioned that if it wasn't for the fluky helmet catch AND Manning not called in the grasp by Mike Carey Brady would have won his fourth long ago. Hes admitting that Manning should have been called in the grasp and should have never been able to throw that helmet pass. To me thats a big deal coming from this azzhat.

yeah. i didn't quote everything, but that's a big one. he'll catch hell for it from Giants fans, too. it's kind of a sacrilege to say that down here. I'm going to edit and add it to the thread intro. thanks.

myers was bad on spygate (and still is), but, in a sense, he has to be to throw red meat to the fans who buy the paper because of its Sports Page.
