This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
I have no idea how stupid in terms of stupid calls this call was, with one timeout and the personnel package and thinking you want to get a crack at 3 plays if you need them, one pass is likely.
And if you run this play a dozen times I bet the defense is lucky to get one pick. I'd imagine at least 4 TDs and maybe 7 incompletes.
Bottom line is whether it was a great call or a terrible call, the call didn't intercept the ball. The Pats still had to make that stop.
For me there was a little bit of perfect symmetry going back to Asante's non interception followed by everything that followed. Here we have ridiculous once in a lifetime catch set up an easy TD only to have a pick out of nowhere.
Man, now that you mention it, it's pretty crazy that the last three coaches for the Patriots have been Parcells, Carroll, and Belichick. Has to be the single greatest succession of three coaches the NFL has ever seen, right?
Lost in this was Butler was making good plays for as long as he was in, including getting away with a trip when he was beat.
Fantastic clutch performance. however, next time he wins the game with a clutch interception he better take a knee in the end zone. We were in real danger until they got the defense to jump and give us 5 yards breathing room.
I think he wasn't sure where he caught the ball. Did he catch it in the endzone or did he catch it at the one foot line and then get pushed back. If the latter, taking a knee in the endzone might be a bad idea, right?
I love how all the media outlets are saying the Pats only one bc a bad play call and acknowledging how Seattle was only near the goal line bc of the luckiest catch ever. Champs make plays.

This is what gets me. Why can't they see this? Why are they so blinded by hate that they can't see these guys for what they really are? Why can't they wake up from the media created "Patriots" and see the REAL Patriots?
We're proud to share it with you if you'd just stop hating.

This post is probably gonna get lost in the moment and I might have to say it at some other time, but to see the Pats finally win after 10 years - to see the Pats finally win at an age where I can fully remember (the last time they won I was really young and didn't know/follow football as much, and so the memory is foggy) is the greatest feeling in the world.
Thoughts: We played our game on offense...patient drives built on short passes, then opening up.
Ridley or somebody else needed to move the chains consistently. Blount and Vereen have rthei place as runners, but Ridley's the only one that can run consistently and without extra help, squirting through small openings.
Our secondary gives us a big advantage if used well (Arrington on a 6'5" guy instead of browner? Ryan as man defender instead of roving ballhawk? Seems like Butler and those three, used correctly and Revis, can just choke team off.
The front seven, besides Mayo returning, could improve some.
