Pats vs Seattle WRs/TEs

No one on the Seahawks deserved to get bracket coverage like a Ty Hilton last game.

You can play Revis, Browner, Arrington on islands

Don't tell GB that..overtime , I'm not comparing GB secondary to ours, just saying that pass by Wilson was perfect and probably couldn't be defended one on one.

You matchup nicely to our WRs. I'm not sure you should be too worried about Willson, he's had a couple of big games lately but still struggles catching the ball in traffic. Get him in space then watch out, 6,5 250 with 4.5 flat speed, we'll try and find some favourable matchups but I really can't think of any.

Baldwin's an interesting one, I'm assuming Revis might follow him, he apparently had Browner in his back pocket in practices when he was here. Doug's our best receiver on scramble drills, he's a crisp route runner and is capable of taking advantage of 1 v 1 matchups. Has gone off a couple of times this season and has had his way with both Cromartie and Peterson. Revis is undoubtedly better than both those guys and Doug relishes the tough matchups, will be really interesting to follow this one.

Kearse is probably our best deep threat and I'd have thought he'd be Browner's assignment. Not really the type of player to cause BB problems but Kearse is somewhat of a post-season hero, could be a good battle.

I really expect us to try and get Lynch involved more in the passing game. A great player with the ball in his hands, he's definitely a potential difference in more than just the run game.

I'd expect Lockette to take the most snaps out of the other receivers. He's a somewhat of a speedster and has shown deep threat ability in very limited situations but he's not a guy to worry about (that said him vs BB might be a good look for us). 4th round rookie Kevin Norwood is our biggest WR at 6,2, he has reliable hands and could develop into a nice possession guy but hasn't really been given many opportunities to show what he can do and I doubt that will change on Sunday.

I don't expect the rhythmic passing we were displaying before the Packers game (due to the loss of our rookie first pick Paul Richardson), if we're going to have success it will probably come from the odd 1v1 matchup. TE Cooper Helfet might be a guy to watch for, he's kind of like a poor mans Fleener and has shown up big a couple of times this season (@Rams and vs Cardinals).

I doubt the patriots would play with 0 safety help though. that was the WORST defensive call when you know the one thing you need to stop is the deep pass and touchdown

Wow..someone other then me wanting to talk football..who knew. Their WRs aren't good. Our DBs should win that battle easily. If we can holf Lynch..i think we will really limit them in what they can do
You know a lot of people used to say that about david givens and branch when we played the colts or eagles etc. That our WR arent very good. I would be cautious to think that way.

Exactly, they are good enough to win.

Only the other hand teams with great receivers never win. Never. Moss won nothing. TO won nothing. Megatron has won nothing. The last great receiver to win was Rice but honestly, he won because he was on a great team - they won without him before then won with him.

It was an all-out blitz with no deep safety. I really don't see Belichick making that kind of defensive call.

I also recommend watching last years Super Bowl. Both Kearse and Baldwin made play after play. Those guys are gamers and should not be over-looked.

so you are going to tell me that Revis should have trouble with their WR's?? im sorry but that is just false...

its fine not to get over-confident. but this is a matchup the patriots have on their side no doubt about it.
