My vote goes to Julian Edelman.

First off, I don't believe that Tom Brady can win this game for us if the defense doesn't bring it's A game. Brady and the offense need to play a relatively mistake free, and that means playing within themselves. If the game gets put on Brady's shoulder like it was in the Raven's contest, the Pats will lose.

I believe that the key to this game will be how well our defense adjusts to the read option, and the ability of Russel Wilson to scramble and improvise when pressured. He's a remarkable quarterback in this regard, and the Patriot's ability to mitigate the damage he can do during these plays will be critical.

I think squirrel is a better choice than Jimmy G.

Jimmy doesn't seem to have the same short area quickness as Edleman.

I'd be a little concerned about wearing Julian out in practice.

There's a game?

I feel a little bad interrupting all this scintillating ball talk.

I was going to get down right rude and ask which running back matches up best on between the tackle runs.

How about a run-only game-plan? Then nobody can accuse the Patriots of gaining an advantage because of deflated balls.

Soft balls are easier to grip..... or so I've heard tell.

Speaking of running the ball, what's Jonas Grey's schedule look like next week?

Hmm. Jimmy G with the time to study film and REALLY imitate Wilson, vs. Edelman with the natural physical ability. Close call just on those considerations, so all the other reasons not to use Edelman win out.

Anyone know what Garrett Gilbert's mobility is like? He may have been with STL for one of their matchups w/ Wilson.

Probably Ebner

JG is mobile enough to run the scout team for this game.
I thought the question was rhetorical myself, but Jimmy G is good enough to do it. I wonder if they have anyone who can read defenses as fast as Brady and get the ball out with accuracy?

If Jimmy G. prepares this defense to contain Russel Wilson, he will have justified his 2nd round draft status in my book.

Speaking of Aladin, why hasn't someone made him a fez with the Patriots logo to wear?
