Please let me know.

Apparently, my wife reserved one (non-refundable) in case one of our teams made it--DAL or NE.

We recently found out last Friday night that our German Shepard has lymphoma and the early estimates for his treatment are between 6-8 thousand. Needless to say, it's not looking too good money-wise to try and pull off a Super Bowl trip as hoped.

I can give details on the room via PM if needed, as they are difficult to come by, especially with only 2 weeks before the game. The room is booked from Saturday through Monday morning. All we'd need to do is transfer the name from ours to yours. Since the room was about 250 dollars per night, we'd also be willing to take a hit on the cost, in hopes of getting most of our money back.

Thanks, and if it's okay, I'll probably give this thread a bump a couple/few times this week. Go Pats

Supa, you're the man, sorry you can't make it out there buddy.

Someone take him up on this offer!

I know this is a completely inconsiderate thing to say, but 8 grand to keep your dog alive in what I'm going to assume is a pained state, Maybe you should put it down?

Sorry to hear about your dog. I just went through a gut wrenching experience with my dog and cancer. Enjoy every moment you can with your dog. Hope the treatment works for you

Best of luck to your dog. We just dropped about 6k on neck surgery for our pug/Jack Russell mix. So I know what you guys are going through.

All options were considered.

Both of the vet centers and doctors assured us that about 80 percent of the people choose the option that we did.

Sidenote--chemo does not affect dogs nearly as badly as humans, and the remission rate is about 80-90 percent.

For dogs, you try and give them as much time as possible, since they don't live very long to begin with. An extra couple of years would go a long way for a dog who is 5 at the moment.

Supa...I KNOW your pain...there IS a solution...the Care Card...get it here...I did...my beautiful tiger cat kitten was nearly dead from panleukapenia and it cost me 4500 to save his life...the vet told me to call them or go online, I did, they gave me a 7500 credit line in about a minute. Best thing I ever did for my cat, my GF and myself.

Best of luck to your dog. Sounds terrible. Pats will win one for him!

That pup has Patriots jerseys in its wardrobe!

Best wishes to your dog!

And I'd be shocked if you had difficulties finding a taker for those rooms. If nothing else, call the Patriots; I'm sure they have tons of people asking them for help.

I booked mine and I'm not sure whether I can cancel. I'll check. PM information on which hotel. I do need Thursday to Monday though.

Supa:

I'm sorry to hear about your dog. Just a thought to give you hope: my cat was diagnosed with a virus that was supposed to be the feline equivalent of AIDS. He was supposed to lose weight and die within about six to nine months. He continued to be a big cat for the rest of his life, which was another five or six years.

I just have Saturday morning through Monday morning--sorry.

I'll send you a PM anyway with the details just in case.

Thanks for the encouragement, ct. That's a great thing to hear.

What a douche bag post. Supa, good luck to your dog and, hopefully, you find a suiter. Chasa, next time just keep posts like these to yourself, my man.

I might be interested, supafly.

Sorry to hear about the pooch. I've been through the same. Best of luck.

(One reason I'm not sure about going is that I need to figure out who can take care of my 14 year old dog for the weekend.)

But please PM me the details

With those kinds of odds and the dog only being 5, that's a no brainer, imo (if you have the $, of course)
