Also heard that they put Steratore for the GB-Dallas game. The refs are not doing the cowboys any favors this week. They made sure one of the better referees in the league got thst one.

Isn't this guy the one Bronco fans think are conspiring against Manning since the Forehead is 0-6 when he's officiating?

(Refs out to get Manning, Phills Simms out to get us on TV, petitions, never ends with these people)

If he doesn't throw flags all the time, that's probably why Manning isn't winning when he's around lol.

You mean Bill Vinovich the greatest ref,of all time?

The first ballot hall,of famer Bill Vinovich?

That Bill Vinovich?

Looks like he most recently reffed our last Dolphins-Pats game, and then the recent Broncos-Bengals game that the Bengals managed to win. So I guess that confirms he's not flag happy if he allowed Manning to lose a game to Andy Dalton.

Edit: He also reffed the Broncos-Seahawks game early this year that Manning lost, lol!

The officials working this weekend are the ones who will make up the Super Bowl crew. The refs for this weekend are:

Vinovich - Ravens @ Pats
McAuley - Panthers @ Seahawks
Steratore - Cowboys @ Packers
Leavy - Colts @ Broncos

Steratore & Vinovich are the best 2 in the business so they should have divisional round games.

Would have preferred to have Steratore but can't complain about Vinovich, but it's all down to how his "all star" crew perform, remember this isn't his normal (usually excellent) guys.

Which is good for us, since Flacco is the most flag-dependent QB I've ever seen.

Did not see Boger this weekend, does that mean he shows up next weekend?

Possibly, but he won't get the super bowl.

It seemed like during the Steelers/Ravens game, Baltimore had figured out that in any fresh set of 4 downs, that if they threw one deep the percentages of a completion or penalty outweighed any risk. If they could get the yards from the flag or the completion it's almost as safe a throw as a 5 yard slant, with a much higher reward.

I too, would have preferred Steratore. The guy always officiates with confidence/authority, and never appears to question his own/crews' flags. But I'll take Vinovich, who is another not-taking-any-******** ref.
