The Official Patriots vs Chargers Game Thread

Defense is tremendous, but i don't think I've enjoyed a win less than that for a while. 2 weeks in a row with a zombie game plan, no adjustments and no awareness of what you're doing (running game in the red zone) or what the defense is doing (they made SD look tons better than they should against our offense at full strength.

I hope the GOAT and his little OC are looking in the mirror instead of patting themselves on the back, because producing no offensive momentum for three quarters is going to cause us to lose a game we should win down the line.

Championship caliber defense. There isn't a defense in the NFL I'd rather have. Feels funny saying that after all these years.

The GB game was a little worrisome (yes, even with the red zone stops)

But this was a superb bounce-back game

nice work on D. Praying for a healthy playoff run.

Tom hasn't been able to say 'our defense' for a long, long time. Very refreshing

That game had me FURIOUS for moments. Especially the 2nd and 3rd quarter

Chargers better show up next week. That was some ****ing tight coverage.

Damn right give that boy Collins some air time!

Did Collins drink some liquid gold by mistake? Lol

Look like we will win out. Needed this win so badly

Collins wears grills? Well i guess you learn something new everyday

I'm not sure Jamie Collins has a future on the professional speaking circuit when his career is over

Thank you Pats

Jamie freakin collins. wow! what else can you say?
I thought of him, all spelling aside, but was he really on the bubble without returns?

You're dissing me for spelling in a game thread? I'm trying to watch and type at the same time!

Interesting because I enjoyed that game, particularly the second half more than almost any game this year. Two terrific defences matching each other save for one broken play (Edelman TD).

What is amazing is that in facing, Manning, Luck, Rogers, Stafford and Rivers, the pats went 4-1 and could have gone 5-0. This D is real.

Hope the lessons were learned tonight with the people I removed. Please be aware that I'll be monitoring these in-game throughout the rest of the season to try and make game day threads a little more tolerable here. Thanks to those that hung in and didn't start crying about the season being over in the 2nd quarter, it's much appreciated and certainly better when the outcome proves the point
