Hopefully Drew chooses to retire as a patriot at a home game this year.
He played a BIG part in 2 of our superbowls.
He deserves our loyalty and appreciation.
He retired a Patriot on April 21 2002 , when he was traded to the bills.. No more swan songs for Drew , we loved him ,but he is done , and was done as patriot long ago..

Your second point is a bit overstated, me thinks. He played a BIG part in a Super Bowl that we lost. He played a very SMALL part in our first Super Bowl victory.
Drew laid the foundation for all the good things that came to us. The sell out streak started with him being drafting and resulted in us getting a new stadium. He also played an important role in that AFC Title game win over the Steelers. He had sat on the bench for over 10 weeks and came in and threw a TD pass.

Danny that is very true, one more quarter and we were toast. However, I will never forget how he came off the bench and led them right down the field for a score as he hit Patten with a rocket for the TD.
I certainly have appreciated all that he did for the franchise and it was good to see him leave us doing his part in that AFC Championship game.
At least he left on a warm note, even if he did not understand how good Brady really was/is.
