Mallett could be heading for the shelf:

exans quarterback Ryan Mallett played with an injury to his right pectoral muscle that hampered his accuracy and velocity in Sunday’s 22-13 loss to Cincinnati.
Depending on the severity of the injury – which could be pulled or torn — Mallett could miss several games, including Sunday’s game against Tennessee at NRG Stadium. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who was benched in favor of Mallett for the Cleveland game, could be back in the starting lineup.

I see all the Giants fans talking up the reception. But I would point out that the catch was uncontested, without a defender left in the picture. Gronk had two defenders draped on him interfering with his catch, and trying to knock it out.
