I probably would have selected Houston, but they need a WR, as well. I believe cotchery is an RFA, and Coles while still good is getting up there.
Mr. Irons did not impress me, but if he has run you over on occasion, I tip my hat to him.And Kenny Irons.
From the noodle arm perspective, ya dun good. Bowe has some speed, but he's a nice big possession target for a guy who occasionally needs JATO assist to get the ball over the line.I just couldn't pass over Bowe...I also couldn't decide which CB would surpass either of the WRs on the board...Blalock was tempting, and Woodley, Moss and Spencer just weren't tempting enough at this slot...
Overrated how?Question does everyone think Quinn Pitc*ck is overrated? Just wondering.

Blalock is good, but I don't think that much better then a number of OL available later. Meachem is too fast for your buddy. Neither Moss or Spencer seem like good 3-4 fits. McCauley and Houston don't do it if you're trying to honestly upgrade the Jest.
Now if Meachem continues to drop to 28....:singing: Yippy aye ay, calf roper :singing:
You mean "classical" don't you? :wha:You like country music?

Classical enough!Well, I like Dwight Yoakam.
I just went BPA...I hope the majority like the pick...I know we have much bigger holes in the secondary and linebacker but no one would have provided the value we need...plus with two great running back time control will be in our favor, therefore getting rest for, and helping the defense. I felt Lynch would have the most impact on the team overall, and he provides a safety blanket in case Maroney is worse than originally thought.
Classical enough!
I don't think it's a bad pick. I just can't imagine it happening.
Pittc*ck impressed me with his play in and during Senior Bowl week.Well, it seems some publications have him ranked as the third or fourth best DT and a first rounder.....
If we didn't already have LeKevin Smith, I'd be taking a closer look at him for NT. With good coaching this kid plays 10 years easy. First round may be a bit early, but he's solid anytime after that. That rookie out of Northwestern won the starting job at NT for the Giants last season, I can see Pitc*ck doing the same in a similar situation. Carolina's looking to replace Jenkins...Pit**** was the blue-collar anchor of the Buckeyes' veteran defensive line that featured fellow seniors David Patterson and Jay Richardson. With Pit**** leading the way, the OSU defense ranked 12th in the nation, giving up just 280.46 yards in total offense in 2006 after ranking fifth nationally in 2005, when the Buckeyes allowed just 281.33 yards per game.
With Pit**** handling multiple blockers, the defense ranked 12th in the nation with an average of 2.92 sacks per game and the team finished fifth nationally in that category the previous season (3.67).
I have likes in most country/bluegrass sub-genres. I just figured you'd get a chuckle out of Cow Patty as a classical tune. My #1 favorite is Alison Krause. Though I'm pretty sure I have some Def Leppard around, and I know I have Nazareth. And Bach, Blondie, The Rippingtons, Nat King Cole...Were you looking for Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, and George Strait?
I like George Strait, Randy Travis and Josh Turner (might not be classic, but he's good)

Jarrett, Lynch, Bowe, Meachem...a mini-run on offensive skill positions...
I certainly can't fault the pick. The best players left on the board were offensive skill guys, what can you do? Lynch does make the team better.
