After Chuck Colson got sent to jail for his role in Watergate, he had his Damascus road moment. He then started a prison ministry that did a lot of good, unhardened a lot of hearts, and expanded exponentially once he served his time. This is great that Tebow's doing this. God bless him.

I know a member with a silly avatar that as far as I know only posts skeptical questions on the religion forum...I am at the point of probably not responding to him in the future. That would be a higher road for the Tebow attackers on this thread, including an implication he might (really iffy, really iffy) have something in common with Michael Sam. Tebow is out of the NFL, so this should cool down?

Atheism is among the least tolerant religions. They know there is nothing after this life, so they will never have to account for their own miserable existence.

People always complain about the fact that so few athletes and entertainers are good role models. Is it any wonder when those who step up are crucified?

I think the mods could do a lot better job managing this forum.

I assume SalemPats is from Salem, MA -- a community not exactly known for its tolerance.

I haven't followed Tebow lately, but I wish him well. He seems to have a good heart and the world could use a few of those...
