BB would never do anything just because the press or fans want or said anything. I think BB does what he thinks is in the 100% best interest of the team. We may not see it and he may be wrong at times, but I think he believes it.

Actually, I was almost worried his ego would get in the way and make Dobson inactive just so he could stick it to the media and not look like he's giving in.

Agreed. I still think he has an upside and something to contribute regardless of how well lafell and tymes play. He is fast and smooth.

I wonder what is going on too. It seems they need to make it a point to get him involved more. I imagine if I was a WR a lot of it would be reps and confidence and we need to build that up for Dobson. Think of the dual threat of Dobson and Tyms, that would be badass. Not to mention Minitron, Gronk, and LaFell all in there too.

At this point LaFell has clearly outplayed him.
The Patriots are using lots of different formations, but more two-TE than three-wide.

Where there are two receivers, they are Edelman and LaFell. Those two are most attuned to the in-play adjustments and are getting all the consistent reps.

In the Bills game, we saw a little bit of Dobson, Amendola, and Tyms as the third receiver.
Amendola did nothing.
Dobson's presence was only notable by screwing up pre-snap.
Tyms was somewhat more memorable. He's probably moving ahead of Dobson on the depth chart.

If LaFell goes down, Dobson may have more opportunity, probably as a third receiver behind Tyms at this point. Otherwise we should probably expect more of the same week to week.

I don't know what's up with this kid, but I am thoroughly frustrated and even a bit discouraged. Maybe the foot is not where it needs to be and they're protecting him somewhat. I also think a slight positive here is that LaFell is getting more time to play in meaningful situations with Brady. I hope we see more of this kid in the second half of the season.

As lon as the O does what it did in Buff i don't care who's in Tyms Wright ect. They all seem like they can make plays and you need that
