I'm sure the Pats will turn things around, but if they don't it would be a great year to be the team to make the playoffs with an 8-8 record while multiple winning teams stay home. This idiotic 4 team division setup is a disgrace.

Even after watching the Pats miss the playoffs with an 11-5 record, I still like the way divisions are set up. They create real rivalries, which adds a ton of flavor to the game. For example, even though I really hate the Ravens and Steelers, I get amped up to watch them play each other. It adds meaning.

Aw heck, I always feel cheered up when I come here. The way I see it, any Green Beans loss in a week when the Pats lose mitigates my blues factor by about 25 percent.

Come 8pm tomorrow I hope to be celebrating the Jets falling to 1-4 and the Patriots re-establishing as the clear king of the AFC East.

If the Jets win tomorrow and the Pats lose and we're both tied at 2-3 after 5 weeks of football (with all 3 of our losses in conference, all 3 of theres out of conference) I am going to puke.
