This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

Devey over Kline is interesting. Not what we expected. The Globe, at least the writer that does the game day depth chart, had Kline starting.
Dobson out is a shame. We all hoped he would make it back in time, and were enthused with the final pre-season game. Apparently not quite ready in the coaches minds.

First Patriots rotation on OL in warmups: (L-R) Solder-Cannon-Connolly-Devey-Vollmer. We'll see if that sticks in the game.
I'm not actually bothered by Chung starting if they use him to his strengths. Revis and Dennard can really lock up the outside guys, McCourty is obviously strong, leaving Chung free to lay some lumber on some guys. He won't be tasked with too much individual coverage, hopefully.
Devey wasn't nearly as bad as people made him out to be in the preseason. Yeah, he tripped Brady, but Brady seemed to have plenty of protection in that third preseason game.
I said that I thought Chung would be effective in run downs. I think he will be the base package safety and one of the other guys will take over in sub packages. Chung is a fairly good vs. the run and can play in shallow coverage.
The way I'm looking at the line combo is... Solder is great, Cannon should hopefully not be TOO big of a drop-off from Mankins and should hopefully be as good in pass pro, Connolly is an upgrade over Wendell at C, Devey should probably be as good as Connolly was at RG hopefully, and we have Vollmer back now at RT.

The local CBS affiliate has taken itself off my Direct TV. I have Sunday ticket so I'm not worried about today. ( don't watch anything else I'm CBS). But usually when a game is on the local CBS channel it's blacked out on the Sunday ticket channels. I'm wondering what is going to happen when the pats are the featured 4 pm game. I guess if I can watch the jags today ( that's whatcha is shown here locally as the home team) I'll be OK, if it's blacked out, someone better fix this quick!
