No no cost. I am not a big trader. I like to want until the games start then trade. Too early for me.

Thats great, figured that was the case when I picked up Gonzalez without any warning or prompting to pay in.

And Im a little sad to find out that Fantasy Football doesn't involve a lot of trades and roster fiddling. I wonder where I got the impression that it was a huge time sync that way.

Trades, no. Roster fiddling, absolutely! There are a ton of players about to have very good years that probably aren't many peoples teams yet, some on just about none. On average, 25-40% of my team by the end of the year in any given league will be acquisitions made through waivers or free agency.

It can be tricky to tell when someone has a great game if it's an anomaly or the beginning of a trend, and for every successful pickup I've probably had several add and drops when it turns out the performance was a one time thing.

I think one of the biggest things is just staying up to date on who's playing well, and being willing to cut "name" players in the bottom half of your roster if they're simply not giving you value.

All this said, this is only my 8th league, so I'm hardly an expert on the subject.

Ya most league I am in...barley any trades. I kind of like my team. But want a better TE.

It doesn't cost any money to make trades. From all the leagues I've ever been in, trades aren't something that happen very often. They do take place but usually not more than say 4 or 5 for the entire league year between all the teams.

I got an email of an offer for a trade from @Armchair Quarterback . I logged in to the website and can't find it being proposed anywhere. I don't know if you removed it or if I just can't find it.

What team are you again? I'm getting confused trying to align football team names with message board names. Always open to trades but most of the ones proposed in FF are too one sided.

Im pretty sure I would have had him had I made roster room correctly. In retrospect I realize now that I needed to make room for both Gordon and Gonzalez.

After Thurs and the 1pm games, ESPN was projecting me an easy first game victory with 115 points. Watched that number plummet with each game to finish 40 point less at 74 points

Supa had two of his bigger point scorers go into OT games and get that extra opportunity to score more points. In the end he only gained an extra two points.

Fortunately (or not) those 2 points meant nothing to the outcome of the game.

And for the first time ever, my team is rolling. Even without AP I was able to lead the league in scoring this past week. Special thanks to Darren Sproles for tearing it up last night.

Gates injured all week. Missing practices. Had a full practice on Friday but I decided since hell, he was playing the Seahawks, I should go with a waiver wire TE.

That sucks. I've done it before, too, and I'm sure everyone else has. Just never know. I did pick SD to win that game but would never have guessed the ease that SD would throw with. But the Chargers aren't afraid to go against any team.

And it's kind of sad I'm still going to beat all of you even with my 1st pick (3rd overall) probably done for the year. Who knew all it took to have a good team in FF was to go against a bunch of fellow Pats Fans?
