Take your pick, i'm going with 14-2 if i had to bet and thats me trying to sound realistic but honestly i think 15-1, if Amendola, Edelman, and Gronk stay healthy all season then over 35TD passes for Brady

at Miami Dolphins - W

at Minnesota Vikings - W

Oakland Raiders - W

at Kansas City Chiefs - W

Cincinnati Bengals - W

at Buffalo Bills - W

New York Jets - W

Chicago Bears - W

Denver Broncos - W

at Indianapolis Colts - L

Detroit Lions - W

at Green Bay Packers - L

at San Diego Chargers - W

Miami Dolphins - W

at New York Jets - W

Buffalo Bills - W

And of course with the end result being this

19-0 :D (one of these years I'll get it right)

12-4

One division loss.
One road loss against a decent team (Packers, Chargers, Colts).
One unexpected home loss versus a decent team (Bengals, Bears, Broncos).
One totally unexpected WTF loss.

I don't see them losing 4 games this year, last season they went 12-4 and you know what team they had including all the injury's, this season they added some weapons and all the key players that injured last year are back, i'd say the worst is 13-3.

I'd be thrilled with 12-4. If we do better, I'd be jumping for joy. If injury free (relatively), I wouldn't be shocked if they make it to the AFCCG once again.

13-3. 1 los vs packers...another one in the division (by some BS...probably a soft penalty call..happens every year) and the other? I have no clue

Yea when it comes to losses i see the packers getting one off, and for some reason i think the colts are gonna pull a fast one but i definitely do not see them losing to Denver like in my head its impossible for us to lose against them, i don't see it happening, i don't bet $ on games but i plan on putting money on that game have a buddy of mines whose a straight bronco fan, i'm that confident that we aren't losing in week 9.

13-3 reg season. No idea on the playoffs

I think we handle the colts this year

19-0 :D (one of these years I'll get it right)

It'd be great to see them take another run at 19-0, but I'm not sure most Pats fans feel the same way and would want them to drop one before they got to the playoffs

19-0.

Only game I see as a potential loss is @ Green Bay. Bears game not being at Soldier Field on the horrible turf helps too.

19-0, Patriots defeat the Seahawks.
Richard Sherman gets burned for 3 TD's and a 150 yards.
Darelle Revis makes 3 interceptions and returns one for a TD with 107 return yards.
Brady asks Richard Sherman: "You mad bro?":D
Dominique Easley is DROY with 10.5 sacks. He is dubbed "Dominator".
Gronkowski plays all 19 games and breaks his own record for most receiving yards and TD's in a season.

Don't know why so many people think the Pats will lose @ Green Bay... I know Rodgers is great, but their receivers aren't THAT outstanding - Nelson and Cobb are definitely good, but there's a dropoff after that IMO, and as a whole their WRs are not nearly as good as Denver's were last year, whom the Pats managed to mostly throttle in the regular season without Darrelle freaking Revis, plus missing Mayo, Wilfork, Kelly, et al.

On the other side of the ball, I would think Green Bay is not particularly frightening defensively. I would think Brady + Gronkowski + Dobson + Edelman + Vereen can put up plenty of points there.

It's in Green Bay, but it's not TOO late in the year, so it shouldn't be that much worse off than Gillette would be.

I'm thinking a win there. I can't talk myself into a loss for any game on the schedule honestly.

Screw it, 19-0!!!!!!!!

Same here don't know why people afraid to go into Green Bay when Tom is the greatest cold weather QB ever!

telling people all around me... If healthy, MAGICAL YEAR!

I think 12-4 is pretty realistic. Granted, we went 12-4 last year, but we very well could have been 10-6 or even 14-2 on the flip-side. The spoiled Pats fan in me is more concerned with having home field advantage for the playoffs over Denver.

I don't care if they go 14-2 or 9-7 as long as they make the playoffs and coast hot into the playoffs and win another championship trophy. 14-2 feasting off the NFC east then the passing game stalling in the playoffs and getting booted isn't nothing to celebrate. While Brady is our QB the goal should be another trophy

I'm thinking Fleming at RG starts settling in and giving the interior OLine some power and dominance late in the season while the best center steps up as the clearcut best whether Connolly,Stork,Halapio. And our young tall fast athletic WRs become very natural and instinctful in the offense as season progresses adding variety to the passing game. Also our young defenders get more comfortable and step up. I like Buchanans,Moore's,Harmons,Ryan's and especially Collins potential. I think Collins gets tried as rush olb if we play any 3-4 he could be the speed rusher we been needing. He and Jones could be as elite a rush combo as there is in the league. While Easley/worthy/c. Jones rush from the de spots while Wilfork/Siliga occupy blockers freeing up others. We could use somebody to step up next to Mayo at ilb. I'm not a fan of Hightower at LB. Worthy I think is the surprise here, I think he takes to the patriot work ethic and plays like Round1 pick he was graded

Overall I think this is the team that plays its best football entering the playoffs. Even if they go 11-5 or 10-6 they enter the playoffs finally at their best and kicking butt

We always have a predict the season contest after the last pre-season game, which is closd andf stickied just before start of the 1st game. But this will be a pre-season thread to get ready for the regular season thread.:D

I for one do not like the 19-0 mantra.
It was obvious that the mounting, continued pressure on the 2007 season team took a heavy toll, very visible in the games in the month of December. By the fateful SB, the Pats were emotionally drained such that they had no inner reserve to overcome their injuries vs whatever the name of the team that they played.
