FOX has ended it's relationship with WEEI after comments by Kirk Minihane regarding Erin Andrews during a "Dennis and Callahan" segment and the way that WEEI handled the situation afterwards..

NESN dumped the Dennis and Callahan show too. They informed WEEI they we're not going to air the show when the contract expires.

I read NESN is also down with morning show once the contract runs out.

There are jokes you can say on air and jokes that you can't. But to knock Erin Andrews, who honestly, is clearly good at what she does, is completely out of line in either scenario.

It is a Boston sports radio show. It used to be the only show in town, but has been failing something awful of late. They are getting killed by the Sports Hub which is new station in town with younger talent. Weei has too much old talent that can only talk baseball, the only good sports show host they have is Holly. If your a die hard Pats fan than the Gresh and Zo show is what you want to listen to. They go into the X's and O's about football. They go into detail about football and I like listening to them.

Honestly, there isn't much to chose between the two stations. Every idiot on EEI has a counterpart on 98.5. 98.5 has the absolutely insufferable Felger and Maz, Adam Jones, etc. Gresh and Zo are decent during football season because at least they know something about the game, appear to have actually watched the team (unlike Felger) and don't have an agenda or an axe to grind like so many of the others do.

What has he done, in his ENTIRE life, to be criticizing a girl who has slowly worked her way up the ranks as a sideline reporter?

Seriously I don't think i've read anything written by this stooge, and the best that hes accomplished is being a third fiddle stooge to the worst sports radio show i have EVER heard, a show so bad i actually chose to listen to crap like lady gaga on my drives on the pike.

Pam Oliver is the best woman's sideline person I know of. her or Doris Burke.

This is all I ever see about Felger and Mazz. complete bashing. but they get great ratings on the show. Their job is act like clowns. He may have been out of line - but he is totally right.

Erin Andrews did not get her job because of her knowledge of the sports world or the insightful questions she asks in interviews. When you get past the eye candy aspect, what you have left is an atrocious mediot. She humiliated herself on a pretty regular basis during last year's World Series. I saw no improvement over the course of the football season.
