NBA Finals and Random Thoughts.

LeBron will never be Jordan. NEVER.

We all agree the Decision was stupid and people hate him now. On the court, he is the best player in the game right now, he's down right dominant. He's not Jordan or Kobe where he can drop 60 points like it's nothing. He's a different type of player, he's more in the Bird/Magic mode. A guy that can get a triple/double, high basketball IQ and when he's great he'll have 35/10/10 with a couple of steals and a couple of blocks. He's already in the top 5 all-time, but it's impossible to compare any of those guys. It's like comparing Calvin Johnson to Adrian Peterson.

Let's look at LeBron's stats.
He's averaged 27/7/7, he's played in 5 Championships and has won 2 so far. He's got another 5-6 great years left.
-he's in the mix for being one of the greats. I don't like comparing guys who played different styles. How do you compare Russell to Jordan. It's tough to do.

I understand. I don't deny LeBron is great. Never have. He's the best player in the world by far and will easily go down as Top 10 all-time which he already is. At this point in his career, he's just trying to win and cement his legacy as the GOAT. But all of this ****ing around with other superstars through FA is just dumb and ruins his legacy for me.

I agree with that. I hated him after the decision and sometimes i don't think he has the killer instinct that Jordan had. But, he can do things that no other player can. He's a polarizing player.

Exactly. LeBron, like you and many have previously pointed out, is more like a Magic Johnson if anything. He can score at will, but also likes to make the right play, as in finding the open man.

The problem with LBJ is, before he even won a damn thing he was crowned "the king" which is why he is so scrutinized.

@KontradictioN I don't care what my logic looks like. I understand that time and again fans of any fanbase will leave early just because. I would never do that. Mainly because, if I'm paying to go, I'm staying until the end.

Whatever, you can say the Pats have the worst fans in football I don't care, because I know I'm not one of them as long as I can call those Miami fans the fakest fans alive then I'm fine.

I'm not saying that Pats fans are the worst in football. Just noting that every fanbase in every sport has and would do the same. The Pats, as I showed, are no exception.

That moniker was more of ESPN's doing than anything.

Were you drinking when you made this post? LeBron will never be a legend?

You're letting your hate for the guy cloud your ability to actually think. Respond if you want to but I'll easily take this logic completely apart. For now, I'll let it go because you may have been drunk when you posted this.

I don't drink ..............

Loving the way the Heat are playing D thus far. That type of effort should have been here all series.

21 point lead now. Once again, that's insurmountable. No heart whatsoever. They can't get a layup to go in and the Spurs are scoring with their eyes closed. There isn't a single team out there that can beat them when such a high percentage of their shots are going in. Most of those ****ers aren't even so much as slightly grazing the rim. Oh well. A lot of work for the front office to do this offseason. First should be parting ways with Wade and signing Carmelo. Next, strip the bench clean and get some younger, hungrier players in there.

If you're Riley... You convince Wade to hang it up.. Trade Bosh, Chalmers and picks to Minnesota for Love and then sign Melo with Wade's money.

That's a team. I wouldn't watch the nba if that happened because that is dirty.

----Bosh has an opt out

Why would Minnesota want Heat garbage and low draft picks?

I don't think Bosh is going to want to opt out anyway. I think he and LeBron will be willing to wait to see what they do in the offseason. Riley is an excellent front office man and should be trusted to steer this thing back in the right direction. After all, it's not like the team was competing for a lottery pick. They were in the Finals. Strip the bench clean and convince Wade to either retire, move on, or accept less money and a role player spot on the Heat and use his money to bring Melo aboard. Most of the bench has to go, though. They're simply too old to get it done now. I would love for the team to trade for Kevin Love, but I don't see it happening.

As for losing the Finals and three straight blowouts?

It's been a fun three years. Happy Duncan got another one. I honestly felt bad for him last year after he missed that shot in Game 7.

For 7-8 years everyone was saying to blow up the Spurs, trade Manu and Parker and re-build. The Heat made it to the last 4 championships, if you ask any team if they would be happy to make it to the finals they would all say yes. If they go in with this roster they are still the favorites in the East to make it to the finals again. If i'm Riley I keep the core, hope you get Shabazz in the 1st and try and end a couple of mid-level FAs. You'll make it again and the finals is all about matchups.

Obviously the trade would have to consist of Bosh signing an extension in Minn. when traded.

But why would they want him?
Minnesota wants to get young and build ...
