Is it time or will it ever be the time to slay the king.
It’s been ten years. Ten years of close but …
Will Bill ever become Lord Baelish or the Kingslayer?
Will he ever put the head of the King on a spike?

The king is dead … Long live the king …

TRADE

St Louis Rams
Sam Bradford
the Number 2 Pick of the 2014 draft
the Number 13 Pick of the 2014 draft

New England Patriots
Tom Brady
the Number 29 Pick of the 2014 draft.

Then let the GAMES begin …
Bill could make the 2 picks or manipulate them into many more

What could Bill then make the Patriots into ?

Clowney or Mack or Donald or Barr or Shazier or Pryor could be on Defense

Watkins or Evans or Ebron or Robinson or Martin could be on Offense

Would anybody ever pull the trigger ?
Who will be the successor to the THRONE and WHEN ???

Or
Will this Thread get me permanently banished to the Lady's Lounge ??
Hell, this is even hard for me to pull the trigger on the Create Thread button

This thread is dark and full of terrors :)

And I suspect your head will be on a spike atop the Red Keep before long.

Very well said Sir Manxman
But - it is not a bad deal for either team
And it would sure shake up the next couple of years in the NFL
And it would make for two SuperBowl viable teams

The picks and possibilities would be tantalizing but Bradford?..............No, just NO!

whats the translation in High Valyrian for "all threads must die"

Until you realize that the Patriots might have to release Revis to absorb Brady's dead money. . . .

Why would there be dead money if both Brady and Bradford are within 2 million dollars cap hit

Future prorated bonus becomes dead money. Brady would have a ton of it since he has a lot of future bonus to be accounted for. He'd have $30.8M dead money total, if my math is correct.

Just sorta read some trade dead money articles
They do say the trading team absorbs a dead money hit when Player A is traded to team B
But there is nothing for Player A traded for Player B.
If the rule is that trading team eats dead money for Trading Star A for Star B and vice versa then there can almost never be Big trades

There almost never is. When was the last big name player for player swap?

I thought the scarcity was due to lack of gonads - Fear of screwing up. BB is one of a very few that could take the heat if a big deal failed
Not because of the Total Money due to each player applied separately to each (both) teams.

I like the creativity and appreciate the big brass balls that it took to propose such a thread.

That said, I'm more appreciative of guys like Sciz and ctpatsfan77 for knowing the ins/outs of such proposals (although in this case I did too, which is rare ;) ).

We must remember that Tom Brady puts us in excellent position every single year, so for that reasoning I do not agree that having 2 first round picks would automatically put us in "SB contention for the next 2 yrs." In such a QB centric league, a player such as Tom Brady is worth 5 first round draft picks in my opinion, and we'll feel the pain when he leaves unless we begin to groom a replacement in the next couple of years and luck up like lottery winners.

As far as "Game of Thrones" goes---please tell my sweet Khaleesi, mother of dragons, to rethink her decision to stop doing nude scenes. It made my spring Sunday nights much more enjoyable.

Pretty much killed my buzz right there SUP. Sonofab.tch, say it ain't so???

I am sorry but that girl has absolutely no right at all to stop taking her clothes off for my viewing pleasure. I love game of Thrones, but that love was born when Danaerys got naked right out of the gate, and they better not forget that still matters greatly to some of us.

I totally forgot about the dead monies that would come from Brady's deal being cap friendly by accelerating the bonuses into the future years. But still I agree it showed some creativity with the proposal at the very least but I just don't like Bradford

I couldn't agree more Emilia Clarke is stunning.....I was in love from the moment said blouse was dropped and she stepped into that bath water, but how is there GoT with no Dani nudity in all its splendid glory?!?!?!

I must say Talisa Stark wasn't too shabby either......

Yeah, unfortunately she wants us all to focus on her acting talents, and not her nude scenes. I guess she doesn't realize that some of us are able to appreciate both at the same time.

Here's an article from the digital times stating that she won't be doing any more scenes, though.

I am not quite as familiar with the show as most, but the girl who recently married King Joffrey and is now trying to marry the new kid king is another personal fave as well, although I'm still waiting for a second appearance--or maybe a third, but it's been awhile. With Emilia Clarke now as good as gone (I kid, I kid), she'll be moving up to the top of the list.
