you must have me confused with somebody else. sorry buddy but your thread title suks. wes welker was never my fav slot receiver. in fact I don't have a fav and im thrilled hes not getting a ring.
the safety is manning's fault, he likes to be the one on the spot lights with all that show on the los, flapping, barking, rolling, to show "look, how good i am, i'm the maestro of this offense" , confusing his own teammates, someday that would happen.
Unfortunately it happened in a sb :d

200%++++.........i really dislike welker. I can't pin point exactly why but the way he carries himself just rubs me the wrong way. And those old spice commercials...ugh. Feels like his entire career was made by tb12.
Edelman on the other hand, i will still like him even if we lose him. He had earned his pay check

We aint buddies.
Welker blamed his coaches for the safety plain and simple.
I don't think that was a mistake at the time. You should probably expect it to be quieter than an average away game since there's not as many actual fans. You can't prepare for everything, and if you prepare for excruciating noise level then maybe you're not preparing as well for the normal case. Plus the snap was way off target; even if manning wasn't expecting it, it shouldn't sail high and to his right
Load of crap. It's pathetic how petty Patriots fans get towards former players.
Some players are lovable, some are not. Seymour was not neither is Wes. Ty Law was, Woodhead was, Ty Law was.

This game was a perfect example of why BB screwing up at the safety position has been pissing me off. Chancellor and Thomas, combined with a top CB (Sherman) = dominance
It's pathetic how petty "Patriot" fans get towards their current HoF coach.
Quit lying to yourself. Welker was the 2nd or 3rd most popular player on the team until the dropped SB pass and his departure. When he made the jokes about Rex, he could have been elected mayor. This is nothing more than the usual "He's gone, we'll talk crap about him because we're dumbass Patriots fans" that we see so much in New England.
This is right on the money. If he makes that catch he's a hero forever, he dropped it so he sucks forever, it is idiocy.

Manny Ramirez: "None of us heard the snap count. I thought I did."
"It was a cadence issue," Manning said. "We were using the snap count on the play and, due to the noise, no one could hear me. So really I was walking up to the line of scrimmage to make a change and get us on the same page, and the ball was snapped. Nobody's fault, not [center Manny Ramirez's] fault. Just a noise issue that caused that play to happen."
I take it Denver lost?
