That's why some of us have been calling for quality depth in the front 7 as a major need for 2014. Sure, we lost Wilfork, Kelly and Mayo. But we had no depth at all at DE. Carter, Buchanan and Bequette ... not adequate.

None of Seattle's DL players are world beaters. But they are all adequate, and most considerably more than that.

They had no depth at DT, either. They had to go out and look for it.

You have no idea what you're talking about when you try using that SB for the argument. The Patriots led that game until the Giants scored with 1:04 left in the game.

I remember him taking a safety on the first play of the game, throwing an awful pick in the fourth quarter, and throwing an iffy pass to Welker. Let's stop acting like he had no responsibility for that loss. He did.

And like I said, he took the lead 17-9 with 11:30 left in the third quarter, and scored 0 afterwards. Enough of this, "he put them in position to win with minutes remaining", if he had scored a TD to make it 24-15, yes. But he didn't.

That was a great halftime show ...

Bruno Mars' backing band killed it!

It is just hitting me that in a couple of hours there will be no football for 6 months...Now I 'm sad.
Yeah, but if this holds up it'll be a GREAT send-off.

What you remember is trolling a post with a completely inapplicable example, and then getting *****slapped for doing it.

I'm off to read Chiefsplanet's SB game thread.

Oh, I have to see this. They're having the time of their lives over there, I bet.

Bruno Mars was a beast, and the Chilli's? Perfect.

Tony, put down the bottle, sober up and stop posting nonsense. You have no clue what you are talking about. Tom a big part of why we won 3sbs and why they were in the last 2.

Best SB half time in years. Bruno and Chilli's AWESOME

You kidding me? Though RHCP are great, Bruno Mars sounds like someone gave a chalkboard the ability to speak. Muted my TV when he was on

BTW - anyone catch the interview by Namath that blamed football for all his health issues?? Claiming that human bodies weren't made to play the game?

I think that alcohol has played a bigger part in Namath's health issues than football.

Also, Namath. The human body wasn't meant to play baseball, hockey, basketball or rugby. Yet people still play those. Some suffer injuries. Some don't. Blaming your issues on the game is a sellout.

It really isn't hard is it? We need to get Tom weapons and keep Gronk healthy all the way through. I really think it is that simple because Tom is that great.

Avril and Bennett were both there to be had. The Seahawks were bolder than the Pats and they are in the SB. I don't really have a problem with the pats' cautious approach but the Seahawks sure definitely benefitting from the "all in" approach.

onside to start half?

Too early to call this game over.

I don't enjoy the mythmaking even while Forehead is choking. The Patriots scored 14 points in the first SB (though I put that mostly on the o-line) and Brady can be blamed as much as anyone for the second.

I agree. Brady played well enough to win. Iffy pass; yeah right.

Welker should have caught that.
