Damn I was hoping to be the only one.
Nice job.

and I don't think Clowney is particularly well suited to be a 3-4 OLB. He's best with his hand down rushing. But that's JMHO.
Great job.
Finally found the time to get back to this.

1. Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn (NFL DraftScout #4). The best prospect in this draft, IMO, and the best OT prospect since Joe Thomas.
1. Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida St. (#23). 6'2" 298#. Strong against the run but able to penetrate. A close call with Ra'Shede Hageman, but Jernigan is more consistent.
(3) CB- Stanley Jean-Baptiste- 6’3” 215lbs (86)
(7) CB- Aaron Colvin- 6’0” 186lbs (222)
(UDFA) FS- Jonathan Dowling- 6’2” 198lbs (284)
(5) SS-Vinnie Sunseri- 6’0” 210lbs (166)
I fought over these two with Matthews and Hageman but went the other way. Really both would be nice. We had a lot of common picks which was nice.
Robinson vs. Matthews is no contest as far as I'm concerned. Matthews is a fine player who will step in and start day 1, but I think Robinson is an exceptional talent, every bit as freakish as Clowney.
Jernigan vs. Hageman is one that I suspect I'll be debating right up until the draft.
Jernigan vs. Hageman is one that I suspect I'll be debating right up until the draft.
a couple of points to keep in mind when debating the two players:
Jerrigan plays on skates and Hageman knows how to anchor.
Jerrigan has had excellent pro style coaching and Hageman, not so much.
Jerrigan had an excellent supporting cast. Hageman, not so much.
Clowney could probably play QB and safety. Guys an absolute beast. Easily the best player in this draft.
That's absurd.
Clowney is by far at his best with his hand in the dirt moving forward. There's no evidence that he has processing capability to make good pre-snap reads to be an effective LB. Does he have the athletic ability? Sure. Does that mean he would be successful at it, or that it would be a good use of his talents? Not clear.
So "not clear" is the same as absurd? Clowney can stand up no problem. I doubt there's an edge player in the NFL of the same size as athletic as him. Go watch his game against Tennessee and Antonio Richardson and then tell me the notion of Clowney standing up is absurd. Clowney was almost literally running rings around him.
Finally got the time to do it.
Very funny, very hard. So many players i like in this draft.

WR: Brandin Cooks (2)
WR: Jeff Janis (6)
TE: Crocket Gillmore (5)
TE: Richard Rodgers (7)
OT: Jake Matthews (1)
OT: Morgan Moses (2)
OG: Joel Bitonio (3)
OG: Brandon Linder (6)
C: Weston Richburg (3)
DT: Justin Ellis (5)
DT: Brent Urban (6)
DT: Taylor Hart (7)

Went with a strong o-line that can protect the QB and linebackers that can make plays.
Flame away.
I'm very impressed that Carl Bradford can play both MLB and OLB at the same time. That makes him worth more than a 3rd round pick in my book.
I assume Max Bullough was the UDFA you had in mind for MLB.
