LB Briggs to sit out season.. We can't- can we?

Colvin isn't really that good, not worth $7M or whatever he gets.

That's about what Briggs would want.

Not that I want Briggs necessarily.

I also think there's a chance Colvin gets CUT.

You've wanted to cut Colvin for awhile. Too bad you don't know wtf you are talking about.

1) Colvin is making 4.6 million this season.
2) Colvin is much better than you give him credit for.
3) There is about as much chance of Colvin getting cut as there is you winning the lottery tomorrow.

Colvin's cap hit this year is $6.4M . . . releasing him would cost $5.4M. He's one of our better players and only costs $1M when looking at the savings. It's just mcbee being mcstupid again.

He ain't going to be "the man" here. We've already signed "the man" to play at LB with our "the man" Bruschi and "the man" Vrabel. We've got three "the mans" on the DL and another couple in the backfield.

No room here for "the man". Just for people wanting to be part of "the team".
