I have to say after sitting down with the guys back at the start of the season, we put together a pretty good plan content-wise for the season and I thought overall it went well, so I want to give each of them a lot of credit for the jobs they did this year. Hopefully some of you noticed the changes and the things we focused on this year, as well as a lot of the individual features that were done one a weekly basis.
John Morgan (aka jmt57) I thought did a great job with a lot of his NFL perspective pieces, which were very well received, while Steve Balestrieri, Derek Havens, Russ Goldman, and Bob George each provided some great stuff every week throughout the season as well. Also a special thanks to a person behind the scenes named Bob Buttaro, who also gives an assist when it comes to providing some additional editing.
We also had former Patriots quarterback Steve Grogan back for another year, with the final piece having been done this morning which will be transcribed and posted Wednesday. Having him I've always felt is pretty special, so hopefully all of you enjoyed those too.
Also recently getting up and running is Miguel, who has a salary cap blog that he'll be running during the offseason. I have to get it integrated into the site, but you'll see his new entries appearing in here soon as well as in our normal article feed. Lots of great insight and analysis from him, so it should be fun to read his stuff and I know a lot of media people are excited about it as well.
The plan will be to come up with a similar plan for the offseason in terms of keeping up with free agency, the draft, player news, etc. But hopefully some of you here enjoyed what we did this season. We'll do our best in the coming months to hopefully keep it going, but as I said I wanted to give a shout-out to those guys who put in a lot of effort this year. It's a lot tougher than it looks
