His stat line: 6 Tackles (3 Solo), 1 Sack (which was explosive btw), 2 TFL, 1 INT, 3 QB hits, 1 PD.
Mentioned this in the game day thread, just wait until we get the leaders on D back next season fully healthy and then get a top quality safety in the draft and you may just be looking at something similar they're doing in Seattle on defense.
WHAT. A. STUD.
Wait... we finally drafted a linebacker who can cover the Tight End in space? Hallelujah!! This is the guy that could be the missing link for our defense. ...
19-0 next year :singing:.
Actually, I REALLY like him because he seems to take well to coaching and, if his play tonight is any indication, the guy appears to have a penchant for stepping up to the plate when the moment gets bigger. Those are intangibles that allow someone with sick physical talent to become a superstar in this league.you know why you all like him so much now??...SPEED...you cannot coach speed, you either have it or you don't and he's easily our fastest LB'er and it's showing now
Joker has been all over Collins since the beginning. I have been impressed with the young fella since draft night, learning of his versatility and his experience playing all over the field. He was on a terrible Southern Miss team that went through some awful adversity, and he performed to the best of his abilities.
He has gotten better every week, he really had a great 22 snaps against the Broncos with 10 tackles and he has done his job, whatever has been asked. Then he gets an opportunity to play the whole game and he doesn't just run with it, he explodes. Very exciting young player.
Well.... I'd be all over the anti-Blount homers from the beginning of the season
There's quite a bit of 'expertise' that has looked stupid this year
